Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) ProgramOur work and college readiness program, where dedicated case managers assist participants (ages 16-24) through a combination of pre-employment workshops, career exploration, college counseling, paid internship opportunities, and more.
Target populations include: high school seniors, non-grads, foster youth (current or former), homeless youth, and other youth not currently working or enrolled in school. Applicants must be LA City residents. |
Summer Youth Employment ProgramOur internship program provides youth with a 120 hour work experience. Youth get a taste of working in the real world and get to learn valuable skills, such as money management and workplace etiquette.
Target populations include: Calworks youth (Ages 14-18), Current or Former Foster youth (Ages 14-24), and other low-income and underserved youth (Ages 14-24). Applicants must be LA City residents. |
LA Rise ProgramOur internship program for homeless youth (current or former, ages 18-30) provides participants with a 300 hour work experience, along with other supportive services such as transportation assistance and referrals to community partners.
The goal of this program is to assist youth in finding stable employment and housing. |
Angeleno CorpsThis program is geared toward young Angelenos ages 18-24 in neighborhoods most impacted by COVID-19. It is 10-month program that would give youth hands-on work experience in one of four areas:

Student to StudentAn important leadership role provided by participants will be in active roles as Tutors gaining work experience in the Student to Student Success program funded by California for All. This allows participants to offset educational loss of younger children within their own household through tutoring provided in the home.
